Hotel Les Aravis
The hotel was built in 1905 and has functioned as such ever since. The current owners purchased the hotel in 2004, whereupon some structural changes were made to update the hotel and ensure its comfort for all our guests.
All 18 bedrooms are ensuite and offer complimentary toiletries. Most of the bedrooms have views overlooking the Aravis mountains towards the pretty villages of La Clusaz or Grand Bornand - the resorts of the area.
The living area of the hotel has been recently updated to incorporate a large sunny lounge with comfy sofas and a selection of books and games, a TV room with DVD and Video players and SKY TV and a well stocked bar offering draft beer, wines and spirits. There is also a big dining room, sitting up to 40 people and a café area where buffet breakfast is served.
The spacious hotel is ideal for groups, couples or individuals and allows guests to relax in their rooms, sit on the sun terrace, use the sauna and generally ensure this hotel is a home-from-home, not just an anonymous bedroom in which to sleep at the end of the day.
The hotel is set in the bustling village of St Jean de Sixt which offers 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a newsagent, a small supermarket, a doctors surgery and a pharmacy. For a larger choice of shops, restaurants and bars you can explore the villages of Grand Bornand and La Clusaz, just 5 minutes drive from the hotel.
Hotel Les Aravis has plenty of parking space.
